A Bodhi Seed Necklace That Feels Like Light and Earth

This Bodhi seed necklace carries the kind of presence that doesn’t need to be loud.

The deep brown beads, gently worn with time, offer a sense of calm that sinks in slowly. Taken from an original mala used in practice, each bead holds quiet history — deepend by decades of intention. The addition of a light brown cord brings in a clean, spacious energy — like breath meeting earth.

It feels both grounded and open. Like stillness wrapped in simplicity.

The Meaning Woven into a Bodhi Seed Necklace

In Buddhist tradition, Bodhi seeds represent the Buddha’s moment of awakening under the Bodhi tree. They’ve long been used in malas for their spiritual resonance — reminding us of presence, practice, and the path toward clarity.

This Bodhi seed necklace features 108 beads, with a Bodhi seed guru to complete the circle. Each bead is about 6×9.5mm, naturally shaped and weathered with time. Their texture invites touch, while their energy invites stillness.

Handmade in Tibet, With Care

This necklace was handmade in Tibet, using 50–60-year-old pre-owned Bodhi seeds from an original mala. The strand was re-strung by hand, keeping the integrity and essence of the original while giving it new strength for continued use.

Strung on a durable, non-stretch light brown cord. The light brown tone offers a sense of clarity — the perfect contrast to the earthy brown beads.

Silent Stones · The Weight of Faith

Near sacred Gang Rinpoche stand ancient totems of Manidobeng (prayer stone mounds). Stacked stones form the high‑land spiritual energy field. Elders hold prayer beads and spin prayer wheels, circling repeatedly to harmonize universal energy and pray for all living beings.

Once made with intention, an object keeps it.

Every piece passes through working hands before it reaches yours.
