Tsering Namgyal
Seventh‑gen artisan Tsering Namgyal practices Barma repoussé craft. Hammering copper and silver, he chants mantras, sinking into meditation while crafting sacred statues by hand.
Dolma&Gelek
Dolma and her husband Gelek share over fifty warm years together. She weaves while he sews. They laugh gently, living out tender love and precious traditional handicraft heritage on the high grassland.
Tenzin
At Tashilhunpo Monastery, craftsman Tenzin carves sacred mantras onto mani‑stones. Each steady strike infuses the rock with blessings for peace and good fortune, preserving profound Tibetan spiritual heritage.
Tashi Tsering
Tashi Tsering is an inheritor of Sakya silversmith techniques. He holds a hammer and chisel, tapping to shape raw silver. Seated at his workbench, he performs hands‑on metal forming for silver pieces.
Norbu
Norbu gathers herbs and resins in season, dries them in the shade, and grinds them the old way. Nothing is rushed; the mountain sets the calendar.
Pema Tso
Pema Tso sits absorbed in her workshop. Her fingers weave strands and beads slowly. Old Tibetan ritual objects rest nearby. In quiet stillness, she tends to fine hand‑crafted pieces, immersed in the rhythm of her age‑old craft.
